Caregiver C-I

Department: Day, Swing and Night Shifts

Reports to: C-III (CII in C-III abscence)

Type of Position: Full-time / Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Getting residents up and dressed, shower residents, provide oral care, toilet residents, resident transfers, serve meals, prepare/serve snacks 3 X daily, assist residents with eating if necessary • Check and change attends as needed, put residents to bed, shift change report, laundry, housekeeping in resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas. • C-I has direct communication with the CII or CIII.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• No prior caregiver experience is required • Demonstrated stability in work history • Positive employer references • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal history background check • Ability to successfully complete orientation and new team member training • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally • Excellent team and organizational skills

PHYSICAL ASPECTS

• Regularly walking throughout home, into resident bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area and other common areas • Regularly crouching, kneeling, bending and twisting throughout shift • Occasionally sitting for up to 1 hour at a time. • Occasionally lifting, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs.
